ZEVHub – The New Electric Taxi Charging Facility
ZEVHub is a new facility for Taxi drivers where they can charge their Taxis in a secure environment. We all know how vunerable drivers can feel when charging with an on street charger, ZEVHub offers chargers within a secure centre with security and gated entry.
Paul Byron from HP Taxis is one of the people behind this initiative and he explains that they have been offering free charging to drivers for their first month, but by the time this video goes out there will be a fee for charging your taxi, Paul says that the cost is very competitive when compared with on street chargers.
Paul explains how he hopes that the facilities available to Taxi drivers will develop and that they hope to have food available very soon and possibly even spares in the not too distant future.
