Actor. Born Reginald Alfred Varney in Canning Town. He appeared in the television series, ‘The Rag Trade’ and also the highly popular ‘On the Buses’, the latter of which produced three spin-off films. He was photographed making the first withdrawal from the supposed world’s first cash machine.
